Report of the Joint Review Panel appointed to review the environmental impacts of the proposed Mackenzie Gas Project. The panel concluded that, subject to implementation of the Panel’s recommendations, the adverse impacts of the pipeline project would likely not be significant and that the project would make a positive contribution towards a sustainable northern future. The review was the first to raise concerns regarding cumulative impacts of future developments. The pipeline was never built.
